2019 Family Favourites

OH MY CRIKEY. I can’t get over that we’re in 2020 now. It’s a pretty exciting one for me, I feel a massive shift in my life and it REALLY motivates me. I turn 30 this year which of course means aaallll the celebrations, and with that we have decided to make it a bit of a travelling year. We have lots planned and whilst I know we will get half way through the year and wonder why on earth we booked so much in, I know that it will be a total blast!

As I have said a gazillion times before, family photography really is where my heart is and I would absolutely love to do more of these throughout the next year. So it only seemed right that I share some of my favourite photographs from 2019’s family sessions.

The first half of 2019 was spent welcoming out little babe into our home and our lives. Getting to know him and getting him settled and I didn’t quite anticipate how busy I would be with work initially but it definitely made me feel like I had a purpose in life, instead of just being a Mum. It can be such an isolating and lonely journey so to go out and about and photograph so many families was such a wonderful thing to do. I loved that everyone was so interested in how we were getting on too, and it was lovely to share stories with you and relate to each other on a personal level!!

Anyway… I travelled near and far for these family sessions, some local to me in Hastings, East Sussex and some further afield in West Sussex and Kent too. Another perk of the job, being able to explore new places, and it was lovely seeing how other family dynamics work and your favourite spots to walk etc etc.

Enough rambling. Here are some of my favourite photographs of 2019…
