Family photoshoot at Dungeness + Camber Sands

I think Dungeness is the place that whenever I spend time there I think ‘When I grow up, I want to live there.’ so when this family got in touch and said they wanted to do a shoot at Dungeness I was a little bit excited. There is no other place quite like it, and to top it off these boys absolutely love trains and just as we arrived, one came rolling by.

Dungeness is not only desert the only desert in East Sussex but the only one in the UK, which is pretty incredible in itself. The vast majority of it is shingle beach, and dotted around are little shacks, a lot of ‘waste land’ and then peoples homes too. And of course, a very large power station, which we didn’t venture to!

We did a little loop around, stopping at some cool spots along the way, and making sure we had lots of laughs and fun, before heading to Camber Sands to meet grandparents, build sandcastles and play hide and seek.

It was the perfect family shoot location and I was so chuffed these guys asked me to document them. ll
